• Open the Compass app on your iPhone.
• Swipe to the left to bring up the inclinometer view.
• Use the inclinometer to read the angle between sample points at each major change in dune slope along the transect.
• Record the angle in the “Dune angle” column of the survey sheet.

These dune angles are used in the Coastal Monitoring Database to visualise a profile of the dune.
